Terms of Use
Free tools for estimating — use them as a starting point, not the final word.
Agreement
The Business Calc ("the site") is provided by the operator of The Business Calc. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Estimates, not advice
The calculators apply standard formulas to the numbers you enter. Results are estimates for planning and education only. Nothing on the site is financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and it doesn't account for your particular circumstances. Check important decisions with a qualified professional.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. We work to keep the formulas correct, but mistakes are possible, and the site may change or go offline at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of The Business Calc is not liable for any loss or damage — including lost profits or business decisions made using the site's results — arising from your use of the site. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Acceptable use
You're welcome to use the calculators for personal and commercial work, and to link to any page, including links that carry calculator inputs. Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or republish its content as your own.
Third-party services and links
The site may use third-party services (described in the privacy policy) and may link to other websites, which have their own terms. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
